Driving the soon to be released UDIA NT 2020 Policy Agenda through industry and Government will be high on the list for newly elected UDIA NT president Hermanus Louw.
Hermanus steps up to the UDIA NT Presidency taking over from outgoing president Ross Baynes (NT Airports), who will move into the Vice President’s role. After a number of years as the Vice President, Hermanus Louws’ election to the Presidents role reflects his work for the institute and his high standing across the Northern Territory in both Industry and Government.
“I believe that the UDIA NT has now reached an operational capacity where our strong functional processes, and definable and actionable policies make us more relevant, and provides our members with a stronger voice. I will look to build on our 2019 success in 2020.” Hermanus said.
Hermanus brings vast experience from the development sector to the President’s role as an experienced development manager for Costa Property Group and director of the Louw Group consultancy. Louw, Baynes and reappointed board member Joe Sheridan are joined by Westpac Regional General Manager, Andrew Paxinos who steps into the Treasurer’s role.
Chief Executive Officer, UDIA NT – Gerard Rosse quotes:
“Hermanus is a proven professional and has contributed to the UDIA NT for many years, his election to president is just reward for his tireless work, and I look forward to working closely with Hermanus and the newly elected Board and Committee”
“With the upcoming NT Election in 2020 and our soon to be release policy paper to hit desks across the NT, the UDIA NT Board and Committee will be raising the bar as an independent voice for industry as we provide value to our growing member base.”
